1. About these terms
Jotikin is operated by Martyn Mills, trading as Jotikin, at 18 Summerseat Court, Clonee, Co. Meath, D15 APN5, Ireland. These terms form an agreement between you and Jotikin when you access the website, create an account or use the Jotikin service. If you use Jotikin for a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that business. Your statutory rights are not affected.
2. The service
Jotikin provides tools for managing customers, enquiries, quotes, jobs, schedules, team activity, documents and related business records. Features may change as the service develops. We will not materially reduce a paid service without reasonable notice unless a change is required for security, law or platform integrity.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, protect login details and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through accounts you control and for managing your team’s permissions.
4. Trials, subscriptions and payment
New Jotikin subscriptions are billed monthly at €29 plus applicable VAT, including the owner and five employees. From the sixth employee, each additional employee costs €5.99 plus applicable VAT per month. All core features are included, with no artificial volume limits on invoices, quotes, jobs or customers. Read-only accountants do not use employee places. Start with a 14-day card-free trial; no payment is taken automatically when the trial ends.
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel to stop future renewals; access continues until the end of your paid period. Existing subscriptions retain their agreed billing interval and paid period unless you expressly agree to a change. The price, applicable tax, total and renewal terms shown when you subscribe form part of this agreement. We will clearly identify when an action creates an obligation to pay. Paid subscriptions may be cancelled in accordance with the plan information presented at purchase. Launch evaluation access does not create a paid subscription unless you actively choose one. Our Refund Policy explains the 14-day full-refund window after your first paid subscription purchase.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of the business information, customer records, photos, documents and other content you submit. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process, back up and display that content to provide and secure the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter and use personal data relating to your customers, workers and other people.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Jotikin unlawfully; upload malicious code; interfere with security or availability; attempt unauthorised access; misuse another person’s data; resell the service without permission; or use the service to send unlawful, deceptive or unsolicited communications.
7. Our intellectual property
Jotikin and its software, branding, design and documentation belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account remains active. They do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.
8. Third-party services
Optional integrations and external payment, communication or hosting services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for a third-party service outside our control, but we remain responsible for our own obligations when we appoint service providers to process data for us.
9. Availability and support
We aim to keep Jotikin reliable and secure, but no online service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted. We may carry out maintenance, address security risks or suspend access where reasonably necessary. Contact support@jotikin.com for support.
10. Ending the agreement
You may stop using Jotikin or cancel an eligible subscription. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach, unlawful activity, security risk or non-payment, normally after notice where practical. Data export and deletion arrangements will follow the service plan, our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. Responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to applicable law, neither party is responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Any further limits presented with a paid business plan must be fair, transparent and consistent with mandatory consumer rights.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal or security changes. We will give reasonable notice of material changes. Irish law governs these terms, and Irish courts have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory rights you may have in your country of residence.
